From robotics control to CAD/CAM, laser to dental implants, Dr Michael Ho has a thirst for knowledge and a passion for combining technology with dentistry.

A private practitioner based in Sydney, Australia, Dr Ho completed his first degree with a Bachelor of Science with honors majoring in computer science in 1983. His honors year project was in robotics control.

After a couple of years in the IT industry and some traveling, he went back to discover his passion for dentistry. Both his degrees were from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Michael has been in private practice since he graduated in 1990.  He is a certified dental laser trainer , was  the accreditation dentist for the for E4D chairside  and CFast orthodontics. He has been a course director for Osstem Implants since 2015 and currently presents on the use of OneGuide, the Osstem guided implant system.

His current project ( as of 2021 ) is the development of a comprehensive course to introduce dentist to orthodontics using sequential aligners with the ability to produce aligners completely in house. 

When he is not busy at work, Michael is busy at home as father to his 5 wonderful children.

As well as his affinity for technology and dentistry, Dr Ho has a love of teaching, and is excited to share the discoveries that he makes while combining both of his passions, technology and dentistry, to go hand in hand into the future
